Couture Fashion Week

Haute Couture Fashion Week took place from July 7th to 10th, 2025, unveiling the Fall/Winter 2025–26 collections. As the world’s most prestigious fashion houses presented their latest visions, we’re highlighting the standout collections that captured our attention and defined the week.

Elie Saab

"This season, the setting was a French château, where flirtation played like a courtly sport in an era that felt vaguely Marie Antoinette–adjacent."

This collection's colours are reministent of 18th-century France with the soft pastel shades of mint and pearl pink. The whole collection perfectly represented the romanticism of that era of France - capes swear over chiffon gowns and structured corsets to highlight the feminine silhouette.

"This was no Versailles costume drama though—it was a bold proposition for today’s would-be chatelaines, who like making an entrance and favor allure with the right amount of excess."

Zuhair Murad

One of the first creations Murad came up with for a collection called A Sheer Desire, a tribute to Hollywood’s golden era and femmes fatales like Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Rita Hayworth, and their ilk - and it shows; with the daring cuts and elegant colours. From diamonds and crystals to faux fur, this collection perfectly represented old Hollywood.

Robert Wun

Aside from the hyperbolic silhouettes and the true showcase of tailoring in couture - this collection reminds the audience that fashion is a response to the world - socially, economincally and especially politically.

Wun described the collection as a journey into “the depths of human desire and imagination.” It questions why people care about fashion. Why do we dress up? Who do we dress up for?
